The 4Z-75 offers an elegant and simple solution for delivering the same content to up to four stereo sets of speakers or four separate zones. The 4Z-75 delivers 75 watts-per-channel (x 2) to any combination of up to four stereo sets of speaker outputs, each of which is independently relay-switched, and so can provide sound to four separately switched zones or sets of speakers. The only requirement is that the total parallel impedance for all four outputs adds up to 2 ohms or higher for each stereo channel. Although a typical use would be to power four sets of 8 ohm speakers, unlike systems using separate small amplifiers, the 4Z-75 can deliver full output power even if speakers of different impedances are mixed.
