The Sherbourn CD-1 combines elegant design, audiophile performance and sound, and extreme reliability, in one attractive package. The 3U (5.25 inch high) rack mountable chassis and elegant 17.7 inch wide sculptured front panel house a blue-lit CD loading slot, easy to read blue vacuum fluorescent status display, and basic manual transport controls. An elegant yet functional machined aluminum remote control is also included. The Sherbourn CD-1’s fully differential signal path, discrete differential line output stage, and high-performance Analog Devices 1955 DAC deliver amazing musical transparency and an extremely low noise floor.

Features include a high-reliability Toshiba slot load CD engine, balanced XLR and unbalanced gold-plated Tiffany-style RCA outputs, and rear panel I/O trigger input and output ports. Audio circuitry includes a high-performance Analog Devices 1955 DAC, fully differential signal path, and discrete output stage for exceptional sound quality.
