Sherbourn History
Fifteen years ago, Sherbourn was founded by industry veteran Ron Fone, who led some of the premier companies in the consumer electronics industry, including Acoustic Research®, a/d/s/®, and McIntosh®.
From the beginning, Ron’s intent was to create the best home theater and whole-home audio components. With early accolades from dealers and reviewers, Sherbourn grew to support installers and dealers throughout North America.
Because of this, Sherbourn is a brand familiar to many high-end homeowners, who have been enjoying exceptional Sherbourn performance for years.
In 2009, Sherbourn was acquired by Jade Design, and brought under the guidance of Dan Laufman, a leading figure in audio and A/V.
