Introducing
an All New More Powerful Amplifier
The
elegant LDS 2/150BA two-channel amplifier outputs an accurate performance
of 100/150 watts into 8/4
ohms. Its design enables a simple integration
into a whole house system and utilizes speakers that are ordinarily
used for the same room’s music. Activate the television and
the 2/150A automatically disconnects the external whole house amplifier
and connects itself to the speakers to deliver a high-end performance
of the television’s audio signal. Turn off the television and
the process reverses itself. Discrete transistors, a large toroidal
transformer and innovative circuitry combine to deliver performance,
value and reliability.
It is said “the better the sound, the better the picture” and
the 2/150A validates that observation by providing a performance
that will add immeasurable enjoyment to any television program.

- Discrete output devices and a large
toroidal transformer for a clean total output of 100/150 watts
into 8/4 ohms respectively
- Front panel includes control input
selection, a delay time control, a separate B mode trigger
adjustment and a concentric volume
setting control for both A and B zones
- Rear panel includes two sets of line
level and speaker level inputs, a set of buffered outputs,
a 12 volt trigger, a music signal
sensing control, an adjustable turn-on control and two sets of removable
speaker connectors
- 18dB per octave sub-sonic filter to
prevent low frequency saturation of transformer type volume
controls
- Patent Pending circuitry that will automatically check
for short circuits and then measure the impedance of the intended
speaker load before connecting it to the amplifier. This test of impedance
helps to ensure that the load is within the required
specification and so will not cause excessive distortion, overheating or
long-term reliability problems
- Will drive two pairs of eight ohm or
one pair of four ohm loudspeakers and is three ohm stable
- Can
be rack mounted using an optional full width panel
